PhD in Applied Engineering
Raheleh's CV
About
Raheleh Biglari got her PhD in Applied Engineering (focus: Computer Science) at the University of Antwerp, Cosys-Lab research group under the supervision of Prof.dr. Joachim Denil. Her research explores modelling and simulation, self-adaptive systems, and digital twins, with practical application of machine learning and AI methods.
Her work bridges computer science and engineering, with emphasis on real-time performance modelling and surrogate modelling. Experienced in interdisciplinary collaboration, teaching, and science communication. Her research interests include Modelling \& Simulation | Machine Learning | Self-adaptive Systems | Digital Twin | Software Engineering, and she is open to new challenges in innovation and technology, where she can apply her expertise to create impactful solutions.
She got her M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering at the Azad University in Tehran in 2014. She was a lecturer at the University of Applied Science and Technology in Iran. She has about seven years experience of working in industy such as ICAN Company (Software Solutions) and MCAC Company (banking services and solutions).
